The Cloud Space in Northampton

"This is our fourth year of playing at The Cloud Space. Both my children love the open ended play opportunities and the café offering is incredible. It caters so well to dietary requirements and there's always a delicious cake (or two) to enjoy alongside an incredible tea or coffee. FYI: There is a steep set of stairs to access the play cafe and the pot holes on the way in ensure you drive slowly!"

"Attended a first birthday party here. The venue is somewhat isolated but easy to find. The party venue is upstairs, around 30+ steps and quite steep. There is no lift because of the age of the building. Once inside it's a great place for young children, plenty of activities, and some sofas and tables for the grown ups. Be aware that due to the age of the building there is little or no heating, this only really affects the grown ups, the kids are too busy playing. Probably worth wearing very thick socks, as you have to remove your shoes!"

"I love going to The Cloud Space with my little girl, who is 3 months. Play Cafe is excellent - loads for little ones to play with and explore, super friendly for parents, and great for breastfeeding too if you need it. Coffee and cakes are spot on. I try and go as often as I can! Gorgeous spot."

"Went here for the first time this week with my 9 month old and absolutely loved it. Warm, friendly, great food/coffee, easy to find & park, loads to do for kids. Best suited for crawlers/walkers but there's a lovely baby corner! Will definitely come back."

"Made our first visit here and it's a lovely big space, we were warned it's cold so were prepared and didn't have a problem with that. Food and coffee was great and not overpriced like some other places. Music was great if you're a reggae fan like me, I'll probably be back in the hopes it's the same next time. I have got to say though and I mean this as helpful feedback not criticism, that the toys were not really the best. The day we visited there was plenty of climbing equipment, magnatiles, a garage and a dollshouse table but my 4yr old soon got bored (1yr old was happy toddling about though) and the kitchen was almost completely lacking in contents like food and pots. With such a big space there could be so much more on offer to cater for all ages and we'll definitely visit again and hope that we were just unlucky on this occasion."

"I have been coming here for about a year with my nanny charge. The child and I really love our time here! There is lots to do and lots of different areas set up with something new every time. The areas are suitable for all the ages advertised and include great activities to aid development. If you are coming with very young babies they have different options of places to put them down like rockers. The staff here are lovely and the food and drinks are great. It’s a great place to have some time to enjoy a coffee while your baby plays or to have fun playing with your child. This play cafe is also a lot more affordable than other play centres nearby"

"We’ve been coming to The Cloud Space since my son was very little and he’s always had an amazing time! This weekend we held his 3rd birthday party here and it was FANTASTIC! Such a lovely space, beautifully decorated and play stations set out SO nicely. The drinks from the cafe were delicious as always and my son had the best day. Such amazing value for money, thank you Emily and team!"
